Thanks Touchstone and netgalley for this ARC.

Many others have tried to put Mata Hari’s life in perspective but this is the most intuitive novel I’ve read about her. It feels like the events are modern and could be seen today on the news or youtube. Justice for everyone is just not in the cards no matter the timer period. But, maybe others will disagree?
