A Gentleman in Moscow by Amor Towles
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Thanks PENGUIN GROUP Viking and netgalley for this ARC.
It’s amazing how good a book can be even when it takes place in only one location. The life of one person that touches so many and overcomes the Soviet system so Eloquently . Nothing gets Count Alexander down for long. The hotel staff become more than a family and even the villains have to admire him. I loved the descriptions of how the Comrades viewed American culture. This book makes a big impression and Ill be thinking about it for a long time.
